LAW DAY “ASK A LAWYER” PROGRAM

TUESDAY, MAY 1ST, 2012

The Association is again offering our “Ask a Lawyer” Program in conjunction with National Law Week. On Tuesday, May 1st, there will be attorney volunteers working in three-hour shifts from 8:30 to 4:30 at the Torrance Courthouse on the first floor.
We are asking you to volunteer your valuable time to provide free, short consultations for people with questions on a variety of topics.

The South Bay Bar Association established the Lawyer Referral Service over 25 years ago and is registered with the State Bar of California.

The purpose of the Lawyer Referral Service is to provide the South Bay Area of Los Angeles County with a State Bar sponsored referral service. All attorneys of the Lawyer Referral Service are required to be active members in good standing of the State Bar of California.

The Lawyer Referral Service has attorneys who are experienced in all major areas of legal practice. An example of the areas of experience that are covered include: criminal law; family law; insurance law; employment law; personal injury; probate, wills and estate planning; real property law; and landlord/tenant law.

The maximum fee that may be charged by the Lawyer Referral Service attorney for the first one-half hour consultation is $50.00.If you are in the need of an attorney, either call (310)325-4200 or provide the information requested below.
